Oh yes, Daymare. I’ve been waiting on this beauty of a survival horror experience to come to PS4 every since it’s crowd funding. Daymare: 1998 is a survival horror game inspired by the great horror titles of the late 90s and early 2000s. Players are sent to investigate a security breach at a secret research facility in Keen Sights, Idaho. When players arrive, they find that this is no simple security breach. The chemical weapons that have been under testing has turned the local population into disturbing creatures, and it’s up to the story’s three main characters to figure out what truly happened.
Daymare: 1998 is an incredible nod to nostalgia for people that grew up playing Resident Evil, Silent Hill, and other amazing survival horror titles. With a strange bio weapon turning people into hideous creatures, it almost makes you think that Covid-19 is turning people into real monsters that steal all the toilet paper…oh well. Daymare: 1998 is awesome regardless.
