Battlefield V Is NOT Dead

Battlefield V gets so much undeserved hate, but there’s a good reason for people’s false perception of this amazing entry into a legendary franchise. We live in an age where YouTubers have more influence over our perception of video games more than traditional media does. We watch these people put out content every day, absolutely bashing a game for something that’s so small, you probably wouldn’t have noticed it if they hadn’t brought it up.

Recently, me and my wife have dived back into Battlefield V after a year of seeing content from YouTubers that claim the game was dead. We loved the game, so we were just hoping to get at least one lobby. When we logged in, to our surprise, the game was absolutely full. On strategic conquest alone there were 27 full servers duking it out like it was release night. That’s not even including the full lobbies in team death match, break through, and tactical conquest.

It’s honestly a big shame. People will actually listen to some random guy on YouTube saying they should stop playing, and you know what they do? They actually quit playing the game! It’s absolutely crazy! These guys are seriously a cancer on modern gaming journalism. Like, so many amazing games have been abandoned because a big name on YouTube said it’s a terrible title because you can’t do this, or can’t do that. These guys make it impossible for game developers to meet those insane expectations.

Battlefield V was definitely a victim of the YouTube misguided video game journalism. I remember when the game first dropped; they were complaining about you being able to play as a female. We’re not even going to get into that right now but….

But “wOmEn CaN’t fIgHt”. You guys are so ridiculous.

Anyway, I’m here to tell you that Battlefield V is alive an well. The game is extremely active, and I don’t see it changing anytime soon. The only thing that’s going to put an end to this great game is Battlefield 6 which I absolutely can not wait for.

Don’t let people influence your decision on games. Watch videos with no commentary to fully get a feel of the game. Make these decisions on your own, I promise you’ll be so much happier, and look a whole lot less ignorant. There’s never been a better time to hop back into Battlefield V, and get in on this great World War II experience. The thrills, and the drama of war is still present making the immersion absolutely stellar.
