Hogwarts Legacy: What I Want to See

Greetings, muggles! Today I want to talk about one of the games I was looking forward to the most this year, Hogwarts Legacy. Unfortunately the game has recently been delayed until 2022, but that just gives the developers time to perfect what I hope to be, the best Hogwarts RPG experience we Potterheads could dream of. Honestly, I am okay with them taking their time. We don’t need another Cyberpunk situation.

I started thinking, what will we really get to do during this game. Hogwarts Legacy takes place in the 1800s, long before the events of the Harry Potter series takes place. Personally, I love this. I think this will allow for exploring new histories and characters that we have never heard of before.

I wanna ride a Hippogriff 🥺

I also hope that we will get to experience a full 7 year experience at Hogwarts. I would love to see our characters grow up, participate in Charms and Potions classes, and get to see those skills grow over time. I am also hoping for some epic Quidditch matches, exploring the Forbidden Forest, and hopefully getting free roam of Hogwarts.

One thing that I hope the game has is the ability to play online with your friends. While going through Hogwarts solo sounds amazing, I’m hoping this is a game that my husband and I will be able to experience together. Because after having a Harry Potter wedding, what’s better than getting to go to Hogwarts together?

I can’t wait to conjure things 🔮

Hogwarts Legacy is set to release hopefully in early 2022 and is being developed by Avalanche Studio and being published by Portkey Games.

What are you hoping to see in Hogwarts Legacy? Will you throw the game away if it the Sorting Hat picks the wrong house for you? Let us know in the comments!

  1. I hope it’ll be a almost gta feeling to it (obviously not like murdering people lol) but I want to be able to go to classes and chill around the school, im not that big a fan on having to go on missions all the time 🙂
