Welcome back, Militia! It’s officially Autumn, which means that we are in for some special treats with brand new anime dropping, as well as new seasons for already established titles! Today we are going to talk about five anime that we are excited to see Fall and Winter 2021!
Platinum End
Release: October 7, 2021
Platinum End is the highly anticipated anime from the same creator of the modern classic Death Note. It follows a young man who is saved from a suicide attempt and is entered into an otherworldly contest to become a god. I have been a huge fan of Death Note since I was a teen, so this anime is at the top of my list to check out as soon as it drops!
Blue Period
Release: October 9, 2021
Blue Period is about a popular high schooler who uncovers a piece of art that changes his life. It will be found on Netflix and I am really looking forward to this story!
Shikizakura
Release: October 2021
Shikizakura is a story about a high schooler who uses a super-powered suit to fight demons that hold the power to possess people. Definitely an interesting premise!
Way of the Househusband (Season 2)
Release: October 7, 2021
This is a laid-back slice-of-life with fun mini-episodes about an ex-yakuza turned househusband. I’m looking forward to seeing what kind of crazy situations our dude finds himself in during season 2!
Yashahime: Demon Half-Princess (Season 2)
Release: October 2, 2021
Season two of the Inuyasha sequel is dropping the beginning of October and I’m looking forward to the direction it takes!
